Watched Cootehill and Crosserlough, thought Cootehill were lucky to survive great point from Mc Cabe who came on as a sub clinched it for them when it coulda gone either way. Crosserlough midfield gave a great supply of ball to their full forward line who were excellent (very unlucky to lose to Lacken in the championship) why did Gaffney go off IMO he was very good another 5 minutes and Crosserlough woulda won it. Id say Cootehill id rather to meet Denn in final, Drumlane are a tough outfit and dont give in easy. Cootehill have a few very good forwards but dont use them enough (did the same in the two games against Lacken) but their midfield holds the ball up far too long Mc. Cutcheon particularly takes far too much outa the ball and then takes the wrong option or gives it to the forwards when its too late. Drumlane have some very good backs and will punish the Cootehill attack for trying to work the ball in slowly, Drumlane by 2 for me.

Cootehill were lucky to beat Crosserlough in what was a great game of football. Very strange decision to take Enda Gaffney off as he was a constant thorn in the Cootehill side. I can't see how anyone can criticise the Cootehill midfield, they worked very hard. McCutchen in Particular had a great game, covered every blade of grass and kicked some important frees. Sherlock was very strong in the air. Cootehill's wing backs were a great attacking threat. Should be an interesting final.

I think Cootehill will win easily enough. Think they have to much firing power for Drumlane. Young hessin is a serious player and will be tough to handle and Cootehill's half backs are a great attacking threat and will be very hard to handle. Mc Cutcheon will run the middle of the park aswel I think. So Cootehill by 5 or 6 for me.

cootehill by 6/7, was lookin back tru resullts and seen cootethill beat drumlane and denn easy in the league, mc cutcheon is in great form, fantastic in final and replay, johm and dane o dowd best for drumlane but dont think they can stop a hungry cootehill side, from reports ive heard cootehill were lucky against c.lough but at end of day a win is a win , drumlane impressed against a denn side ment to be missing a few player but like i side a win is a win

At least the pubs in cootehill might now be able to sell off the
excess booze they bought in for the champ final
