The Gaels will have 7 points scored at half time. Never mind full time.

Cavan Gaels 2-14 Castlerahan 10

do you think the gaels management team will rest some of their key players for the tougher task ahead in ulster.

The amount of stick these Gaels players get for being successfull is unreal. TYPICAL CAVAN ATTITUDE.. i dont hear many in Armagh or Antrim slating Crossmaglen or St Galls for being sucessfull?
Lyng, Johnstone, Meehan, Smith, King, Murray, the 2 Reillys, Dunne,McClarey, are all good enough to be on the County panel if they bothered to commit.. But why should they commit? They amount of stick they get for winning what they have won..
PPL on here are waiting for the Gaels to fall flat on their face in Ulster even though they havent won the Championship yet.. The same ppl whos club never contested a Senior final in their clubs history..
I Hope the best team on the day wins on sunday... i also hope that team wins the Ulster.. I also hope every player asked on to the Senior panel comitts for the betterment of Cavan Football. AND I ALSO HOPE THE BEGRUDERS WHO HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO SAY THAN KNOCK SUCESSFUL CLUBS STAY OFF THESE MESSAGE BOARDS

What is best for Cavan Gaa the Gaels to win/beat

As a keen Cavan Gaa follower I ask the question on the morning of the final what is best for Cavan Gaa the Gaels to win or get beat,
The worst result would be that the Gaels won by a mile.
I do hope that the opposition do not get stage fright and that the journey into Cavan Town has not a deteremential effect on the game.
I can happen that a team entering the big arena can be overcome by emotion and feel to get this far we have achieved all we want to get.
Best of luck to both teams and may Cavan football be the winner and I do hope that the 16th man is not the difference like in years gone past

Poor game in general with too much frees and pulling and dragging. But unfortunely thats the way footballs gone everywhere, You can only beat whats in front of you and Cavan Gaels did that in second gear..
Players like Meehan,Smith, Dunne, Johnstone,Lyng, Maloney -Derham, are certainties for the county Team if they commit.
Players like Murray, 2 reillys , King, Elliott, are good enough to be involved with the County Senior panel too..
Best of luck to the Gaels in the Ulster club..Maybe this year with their mixture of Youth and experience they will find the right balance..On paper they seem to be in the easiest side of the draw avoiding st Galls and Crossmaglen.
They certainly have a very strong panel if their subs today are anything to go by..

i wouldnt be the gaels biggest fan but fair play to them for the way they have bounced back from a poor start 2 the year.with the look of the draw they could find themselves in a ulster final.i didnt feel castlerathan were prepared for the gaels do.they had a very easy run to the final.the only two teams that looked like being fit to play the gaels at championship level this year were ballinagh and ramor.but the experience should stand to castlerathan for next year and the same ballinagh and ramor who are all young enough teams

not a gaels fan but u can only respect them, the have a great team possible there best yet, with a good balance between youth and experience, speed on the wings and strength up the middle. what other team in the county could afford to have a bench full with county under 21's and county minors. 3 county minors reduced to 30 jerseys yesterday including the captain of a ulster winning minor team. would say there second team could give the Intermediate a good go if everyone stayed at home for the summer
