I just heard that letters have gone out to invite players to join the senior panel.
yet all the talk was of players who have decided not to accept the invitation.

But you cant blame the players for not accepting it. Players have to commit so much to play for their county and it onlyreally pays off if there is success. For the average Cavan senior player playing for his county he could have to take time off work, he risks injury and time out of work, fatigue etc. and 9 times out of 10 gets nothing back for it.
