Drumgoon look to be a serious outfit and should go on to win the championship. I fancy Ballyhaise in the other semi have seen Crosserlough dont think they`ll be good enough. Dont know much about Killeshandra whos their main men?

i'd go for Crosserlough as they seem the hungrier team and beat previous favourites Ballyhaise in the semi's

was in the Park,Gaels are class and will win senior easy. But fair dues to Drumgoon, despite injuries tonyoung moyna and farrell they still played great in second half. They will be hard to beat.are clearly a small country club who punch well above their weight.Hannon and Fannin still class and young gaffney in the corner. With small pich Drumgoon over the years seem to achieve highly ,well done

You say that crosserlough are favourites for the final as they beat Ballyhaise, hardly a great reason to make that statement, Drumgoon are in reserve championship final and now the Intermediate final, now if that isnt hunger I dont know what is..

Its 2002 since Drumgoon were in a final, they were unlucky to slip out of senior the last time, the spirit in the team is brilliant and they would walk through walls to win size 5 balls with hunger, so on October 2nd we will see whos hungrier...but Ive got a feeling these goonie lads havnt gone away you know!!!!

i agree the hungrier team will win in the Intermediate final. I do however feel Crosserlough will be the hungrier team to return senior where they believe they rightly belong.
it does have the makings of a great final but i think Crosserlough will have too much for Drumgoon particularly with the system of play they deploy. they will crowd out their defense and from what i've seen of them no team has been able to counter act the blanket defense. funny it seems like the topic of the year nationwide this blanket defense.

but makings of a great final both teams will be hungry for it and will compete til the final whistle and i feel both teams will probably stay senior the following year.
