Quarter Final matches are on the weekend of the 26th, 27th and 28th of August. Only one round of league matches scheduled before that. Having seen most of the intermediate teams in action I think Swanlinbar would have to be favorites followed by Crosserlough, Ballyhaise, Drumgoon and Killeshandra in that order. However, Knockbride and Drung could upset the odds very easily. Kill are probably the only team with little chance of winning it. They seem to be too reliant on Pierce McKenna.

It was on the official fixture list sent by the county board to all clubs last week. Junior B, C and D quarter finals on the Wednesday before (24th).

Quarter Final Draw

Drumgoon v Kill - Local derby so anything could happen but Drumgoon should win by 4 or 5 points.

Crosselough v Drung - Drung looked impressive in their last game against Cootehill. They could cause an upset here. Drung by 1 or 2 points.

Killeshandra v Knockbride - I fancy Knockbride to beat an out of sorts Killeshandra by 2 or 3 points.

Swanlinbar v Ballyhaise - Swanlinbar are unbeaten in championship football over the past two years. Should overcome Ballyhaise by 3 or 4 points.

An interesting draw with no clear favorites. The most open championship of the three.
