Ramor Ballinagh game was great value for money, myself and the missus went as it was the only senior game on. First thing that must be said is that the referee was atrocious, i was a neutral as i say and he definately gave ballinagh 3 or 4 handy frees, whereas the ramor forwards were pulled and dragged in order to get the whistle. Anthony gaynor was solid with that wee bit of lunacy! Mcdermott scored 2 goals, a penalty and one controversial one where i thought he pushed the ramor full back in the back, but he was a menace. I stand corrected, but i think most of ballinaghs points were frees bar 2, maybe 3? podge was ok, he looked a tad unfit, anton reilly just shaded midfield for ramor, james mcenroe was quiet think he looked a bit tired or injured. Jack brady was man handled inside and it took ramor 50 minutes to move him out to the 40 where he kicked two monster scores near the end and this move was the difference for ramor. Also i was very impressed with the young queally lad, excellent scores and running. Typical hard hitting championship game with lots of yellows, not great football but by god there was passion and i love to see that.

Why do the Gaels have all their championship games in Breffni? Good game in Crosskeys, ref v v poor.Small pitch suited Ballinagh. Their only score from play in first half was a goal. Got a penalty too. Gaynor's behaviour was nothing short of a disgrace to the GAA. Ramor will be happy with the draw, but could have won it-missed a sitting duck of a goal in last few minutes. Ballymachugh V Crosserlough will be another tight one tomorrow.
