David Clifford will be giving the Kerry team holiday a miss in order to line out for Fossa in their Munster club JFC final against Kilmurry on Sunday week.

Jack O'Connor's men will depart for their end-of-year holiday to Dubai and Mauritius next weekend, but will do so without the newly-appointed Kerry captain who confirmed after Fossa's facile Munster semi-final win over Castlemahon on Saturday that he will be remaining at home for the final.

A provincial title with his club would crown the perfect year for Clifford who has already claimed McGrath Cup, Allianz League, Munster and All-Ireland SFC medals with Kerry as well as All-Star and Footballer of the Year accolades and county SFC and JFC honours with East Kerry and Fossa respectively.
