Cavan SFC semi-final line-up set to be completed tonight

The semi-final pairings in the Cavan senior football championship are set to be confirmed tonight as Cuchulainns and Killygarry clash at Kingspan Breffni (8.15pm).

Both sides played out a thrilling draw last weekend that saw Cuchulainns coming from a dozen points down to deny their Crubany counterparts, as it finished 1-21 apiece in Cavan Town.

Now, the sides are set to square off again to determine which will face reigning champions Kingscourt Stars in the last four of the Oliver Plunkett Cup race next weekend.

Rivals Crosserlough and Gowna are set for another semi-final date after comfortable wins over Mullahoran and Ramor United last Sunday, respectively.

Meanwhile, Castlerahan and Laragh United will battle it out for their senior championship status in this evening’s relegation playoff at Kingpan Breffni which throws in at 6.45pm.
