Roscommon defender David Murray has announced his retirement from inter-county football.
Murray won two Connacht senior football championship titles during his playing career with the Rossies along with five National League titles, four in Division 2 and one in Division 3.
The Padraig Pearses clubman made his senior debut against Cavan back in 2015 and would go on make 125 appearances for his county.
Murray also won two Connacht U21 crowns and a minor title during his inter-county career and captained Roscommon to the 2014 All-Ireland U21 final where they lost out to Dublin.
"On behalf of Roscommon GAA, we sincerely thank David for his exceptional commitment to football in Roscommon on the field as a player and off it as one of our greatest ambassadors," said Roscommon chairperson Tom Murray.
"While David's inter-county career has now come to an end, his legacy will remain and I know that he will continue to play an important role within his club and community.
"We wish David, his partner Sinead and their son Tom all the very best for the next chapter in their lives."
