Cork U20 football star Conor Corbett has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The Clyda Rovers attacker's worst fears were realised when a scan yesterday confirmed he had suffered cruciate knee ligament damage, as reported by the the42.ie.
The 2019 All-Ireland minor winning captain was forced off at half-time during Thursday night's Munster U20FC final win over Tipperary at Semple Stadium.
Having scored 2-4 against Kerry the week before, Corbett will be a huge loss to Keith Ricken's side in their quest for All-Ireland honours in the coming weeks.
