Delighted for McDaid. A brilliant minor in 2011, he's found it tough to break into such a dominant team. Given an extended run this year, you'd almost say Dublin aren't missing McCaffrey, which is as high a compliment as you could pay him.

The Dublin coaching staff dont get half the recognition that they deserve , the coaching these boys get is phenomenal, the players are just unbelievable talent their skill set their work rate there overall performance I don’t think we will see a better bunch of players ever

#dubvcav was incredibly disheartening. Dublin shot their lights out at a trot in the last 5-10 mins. Cavan are a talented, brave and hardworking side. At 60 mins, they were well beaten. At 70, they were humiliated. The game is in huge trouble.

I can fully understand and accept the argument about finances and Dublin football.

But Cavan had some awful, scoreable wides in that match & made errors that gifted possession to the Dubs.
