Mickey Graham is set to remain in charge of Cavan’s senior footballers for a further two years, subject to ratification at the next county committee meeting.
Graham has been at the helm of his native county for the past four seasons, steering the group to Ulster SFC success in 2020 and also to a final appearance in the inaugural Tailteann Cup a month ago today, when Westmeath emerged victorious at Croke Park.
This past season also saw the Breffni men earning promotion to Division 3 of the Allianz League before going on to defeat Tipperary in the Division 4 final at headquarters.
News of the Cavan Gaels clubman’s extension puts an end to speculation over whether or not he would remain at the helm with the Blues for next season.
