Biggys leadership ? What leadership. Scoring a few points doesn't make you a leader. Biggy is talented, But leader ? Far from it. He just doesn't make an effort when his man runs off him, And he hasn't turned up in a big game for Meath against Dublin, infact he goes into hiding. Leaders are never found wanting. He completely neglects his defensive duties which are the ugly side of a forwards game but something that has to be done for the good of the team. He will have to get his act together.. waynoI (Dublin) - Posts: 13654 - 14/06/2016 10:04:01 1866489 Link 2 |

Sadly Wayno is spot on... He can do what he does going forward and STILL be able to defend and stay with his man.The Dublin half forward line are talented but look at the work they put in.Either Biggy gets his act together or we need a stronger manager to do that.As I said before we cannot afford any passengers, because Dublin will work their socks off,if we don't match them here(and there is no excuse not to) we will be hammered like 2 years ago. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 14/06/2016 12:36:49 1866572 Link 2 |
I know Reilly can frustrate but have we a forward in reserve that is capable of scoring 3/4 points? Overall I think he contributes more than Newman. Both will start against Dublin seadog54 (Meath) - Posts: 2212 - 14/06/2016 14:03:32 1866635 Link 2 |
Yeah great idea we will all take of from different directions (I said directions, you small minded people) and really confuse them.

The four of us could have a three-legged race for potbellied culchies along the sideline. The losers have to do chin-ups (Carlow style) on the crossbar in front of Hill 16.

I think we would be foolish to simply play 'big men' in the forward line,I mean Dublin will expect that, you gotta mix it up a bit. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 14/06/2016 15:10:57 1866694 Link 2 |
I dont do moral victories I want to shove it done the arrogant jackeens throats that you NEVER take Meath for granted. This is it after 4 years of hurt I want to beat them, id give up my kidney (the good one for this) I want our beat players to play , and biggy is one of our best players and the one who could just do something extra special (remember 10 v dubs? ) he had a field day, that game v Westmeath where he lobbed connaughton? That huge kick into kenny in 10,? Ok it didn't end good but Seamus should have fisted it over bar. waynoI (Dublin) - Posts: 13654 - 14/06/2016 16:26:39 1866735 Link 2 |
