That's good but would you expect either to be starters? If you were to look at next year apart from injured guys back, who are people expecting to break through. Charlie O' Connor, Jamie Murphy and Sean Emmanuel come to mind. Michael McGiver likely to stay with U20's for another year. Anyone else from minor win in 2021 looking to make an impact or even someone like Rafferty coming in from left field. Expect to push on we need to be that bit stronger and fitter as a whole and obviously the efficiency piece with attacks has to be looked at too. winatallcost (Meath) - Posts: 753 - 16/07/2025 13:49:59 2626068 Link 1 |
Rian Stafford, Tadgh Martin, Rian Mcconnell and Liam Kelly would be some players id be hoping break through to at least the senior panel. Its up to them to put the work in over the next 6 months to give themselves the best chance though. As good as the 2021 all ireland winning minors were the top end talent probably isn't as good as the year before with Frayne, Caulfield, Kinsella, Gray.

Wow, that's brilliant. Great additions to the panel and both will push for starting berths. I'm sure there's other fellas who didn't commit to this year's panel for whatever reason chomping at the bit to get involved again. With strength in depth comes competition for places and an increase in standards. The more the merrier. Exciting times.
