Probably planned it in the Beck when celebrating the Dublin defeat. You wouldn't have heard the previous management team talk about poor performances and mistakes during interviews, but D Nelson was a little bit more critical after games ( honest) and I guess the players didn't like it....Sometimes you need to be careful for what you wish for....

To be honest I don't follow women's gaa so I never jumped on the band wagon, was delighted to see them do so well obviously however I do have a friend who has a daughter involved and he could tell me 2 months ago that their was trouble in the Camp and it was one woman who was causing the majority of it, obviously I wont be naming her.

Whoever it should be named forcing a lad out after a few months is embarrassing

No winners in all of this but this person would need to go. If I took over two things would happen, Talk to the outgoing management team and ask them who, hang up and Call and drop that person....Not fair on the rest of the squad that one person would cause so much trouble.....If the same person doesn't like to new manager then there also doomed...County Board should have backed the manager...A total mess

Back-to-back All Ireland Senior Champions and they won a dross competition - strangest comment I've seen in a while!

It's all idle speculation what went on behind closed doors, but I guess that doesn't suit your narrative.

Garrigan and Ivers back with the women's team. Doesn't say a lot for what they are doing with the men's team.

They are. I don't think any other properly run county would tolerate this.

Are you ever happy, short term there more than capable of doing both and I'd have to say fair play to them and best of luck.

I normally would agree with ur good self on majority of things. But I find this one odd. I really don't think someone should be in both camps. It's a bit like falling between two stools. How can they give 100% to both camps ? Yes I know the ladies have found themselves in a pickle is there no one' else who could step in ? Not having a go. I just don't think it's ideal at all.

Long term I agree with ye, short term we're only talking about a few weeks so it's very doable, especially considering the hard work has already been done in both camps, obviously next season this arrangement would be unacceptable.

A few people have said this. I have no idea if there is any truth to it though.

Sounds like its a very short term arrangement, should not be a major problem, work with ladies on their free days, will have little impact on remainder of our season. A once off project and not sustainable in long term.

What is a strength and conditioning coach going to do for a team mid season on a temporary basis?
