Two clubs from big towns that whoever wins here will most likely make a Q/F so its a big game. Dont think either will progress to far but Don Ash may win here.

Ratoath v Dunshaughlin.
Dunsahughlin are probably favouites to finish bottom of group. They will give it a lash here but Ratoath to win.

Group B
Curraha v Na Fianna.
Curraha must be looking at Intermediate football next year they have done well to stay Senior but their term is coming to an end. Na Fianna have plenty young players but not enough to claim any titles. They will struggle to win but they will manage it

St Colmcilles v Ballinabrackey
Would love to be in Bracks dressing room before the game as the Old Stand will surely shake. Bracks have a good side and will give it one hell of a go. Cills are a bit flaky and will need to shake that term off big time as any chink in the Armour will be exploited. Cills sould have the class to win but I'm going for a draw

Group C
Gaeil Colmcille v Wolfe Tones
Tones will give it a better go than in Feis Cup but cant see them closing the gap enough as Kells head off on another voyage

Simonstown v Moynalvey
Simonstown strive to hit heights of a few years back. They have the players as the showed in recent Feis Cup v Dunboyne. Moynalvey struggle more than most as they have a lot of dual players they rely on the Sullivans and the Harnans and in the tight Skryne venue they may get a win.

Seneschalstown v Summerhill
I think Seneschalstown may have improved as Summerhill fell badly in recent Feis Cup game v Tones. I think Summerhill will get off to a good start.

Skryne v Dunboyne
Dunboyne flatter to deceive as in recent Feis Semi but I still think they are biggest threat to Ratoath as Skyrne will be more concerned will saving their Senior Status.

Nobber V Blackhall .. Nobber under pressure as Blackhall seem to be improving to BHG for me.

Trim v Moylagh. Fair play to Moylagh but only one winner here
Clan na Gael v Longwood. Longwood seem to be concentrating on Football and can get out of Group o good start here.

Group C
Syddan v Walterstown. Dara Rowe appears to be injured but Syddan will wheel him out. Walterstown are on high with trophy in cabinet fora week or so at least but will win here.
Meath Hill v Oldcastle. Tight game here Meath Hill looking good. Oldcastle doing well. Think Hill bet them last year but maybe a draw here

Ballivor V Drumbaragh. Not a bad start for Ballivor and may get a win here
Kilmainham v Duleek. Duleek will get out of group as Kilmainham will struggle so East Meath win here.

St Michaels v Ballinlough. Tough North Meath battle but Michaels have few lively players and should win here
Dunderry V Rathkenny. Hard one to call. Rathkenny have an ace in DK and should win.

Boardsmill v Carnaross. Boardsmill did well in Tailteann Cup and appear to be on the up. Both these sides should get out of Group with maybe Carnaross edging this one.
Kilmainhamwood v St Brigids. I reckon these sides are looking at Junior B next year but St Brigids to give themselves a chance of proving me wrong here by winning.

Dunsany are one of the top Junior sides and where unlucky last year. They will win here.

Seneschalstown v Summerhill - Both have a very similar still and like to run with the ball. Dardis is a big loss for Summerhill and that gives Seneschalstown the advantage I feel. Seneschalstown by 3

Skryne v Dunboyne - Dunboyne should account for Skryne handy enough. Dunboyne by 8

Kells, Ratoath and Dunboyne are the three to beat while Summerhill or Simonstown could end up in relegation if they aren't careful.

Some interesting results in the Senior Championship!

I hadn't given Skryne much hope against Dunboyne but they almost pulled a win out of the hat!

I also didn't see Moynalvey beating Simonstown - and thats set them up well in their group!

And finally, I thought Don/Ash would have too much for NOM! but it appears there is life in the old dog - and by that I mean Stephen Bray who I hear was outstanding!

Makes the next round of games all the more interesting!!

Senior;
Don/Ash v Ratoath; Ashbourne will try hard and are under pressure after the loss to Navan. Bigger touble after this one as Ratoath will show no mercy.

Dunshaughlin v OMahonys; OMahonys did well to get the points in Round 1 and this group maybe sown up as I expect Navan to push on

Na Fianna v St Colmcilles. Tight Dunshaughlin pitch may suit Na Fianna and they should win

Ballinabrackey v Curraha. Great chance for Bracks to get a win wont be easy but I go for them

Moynalvey v Gaeil Colmcille; Some game Moynalvey on a high after Round 1 and may have Harnan back that will be a boost but Kells are going nowhere just yet Kells to win

Wolfe Tones v Simonstown. A Tones win will put serious pressure on Simonstown they are a bit up and down and I think Simonstown may win.

Dunboyne v Seneschalstown. Dunboyne may come down off their high horse and start winning a few games. They will start here.

Summerhill v Skryne. Summerhill did enough to win in Round 1. Skryne had a chance to take 2 points but didn't. They wont get any here.

Intermediate
Oldcastle v Syddan. Syddan battled hard but lost. Oldcastle look to have lost but won. Oldcastle to win again

Bective v Nobber. Bective did well to draw with Pats.Think Nobber will get the badly needed win here

Walterstwon v Meath Hill. Hill be gutted after loss and that could define their season Walterstown had plenty over Syddan but Hill are better but Walterstown to win

Drumbaragh v Kilmainham. Kilmainham are poor and Drumbaragh will win.

Rathkenny v Ballinlough. Ballinlough lost narrowly but will find Rathkenny tougher Rathkenny to win.

Longwood v Trim. Another win for Trim

Moylagh v Clan na Gael. Clan to win

Duleek/Bellewstown v Ballivor. Duleek better than most and another win for them.

Dunderry v St Michaels. Win or burst for Dunderry I think its burst.

Blackhall v St Pats. I think Pats not too bad and slipped up IN Round 1. This be close and maybe a draw.
