Meath Vs Mayo

With us being true I think we could get hike time into a few lads.
1. Harry Hogan, 2. Harkin, 3. McGill, 4. Ronan Ryan, 5. Fionn Reilly, 6. Shane Mc, 7. Hickey, 8. Harnan, 9. Dixon, 10. E Wallace, 11. Campion, 12. Costello, 13. Morris, 14. McMahon, 15. Joey Wallace. Just giving a few guys the week off to not be playing 3 games in -4 days after 6 months off. If the game is still in the melting pot we could bring the likes of Keoghan, Menton, Cillian on to finish strong. But priority 1 is to avoid injuries before the game to get us promoted

I heard he was injured after the Westmeath game, but didn't think it was a serious one from what I'd heard so surprised he isn't back 2 weeks later

I'd imagine management is taking a look at the other keepers, because it's unlikely that Colgan would come off in a game and if it was a case of an injury or black/red card to Colgan in future games then we'd have a keeper with 0 experience under their belt coming in. That's what I'm telling myself anyway. Would be a big blow if he was injured

Report on main page says he is unavailable, bit vague

Hickey replaced him on panel last week. Reported in Chronicle

Just want to wish Andy Shane and the lads the best of luck tomorrow. I've been laughed at here before at my honest predictions for games. I really think Meath will go all out to win this one convincingly, and with that I'll go with a draw. Hon the Royal!

Brilliant player and athlete.

Would love to see it but this team named doesn't inspire confidence at all. Same old team that's just about a solid div 2/div 3 team at best.

How many development panels has Jack Flynn been on? Underage teams?

And nobody has ever taught him to develop a free kick routine? He's clearly got a fantastic strike but he's all over the place. Why? Every single run up was different! From Brian Stafford to Johnny Sexton to Cristiano Ronaldo, they all have the exact same routine, physically and mentally, before taking a free kick at goal. It's infuriating to look at as it's such a waste of talent. Again, basic amateur psychology's sporting expertise missing.

Secondly Mayo's goal there before half time, keeper all over the place and seemingly can't dive for shots to his left (he's right footed and right handed so always weak spot of a goalkeeper is a shot to his weaker side) . An intercounty goalkeeper however saves that. Was in the middle of the goal but he never sorted his feet out.

The sad thing is that Harry Hogan is actually left footed and as far as I can make out also left handed.
I think he a much better striker of the ball than Colgan though. I think most of his kickouts are hitting the intended spot, it's just the lads outfield are losing out to more athletic Mayo players. I'd keep him in there for the next game.

Hes left handed? No excuse then for that attempt of a save.

very little gained from that game bar the return of Mickey Newman, i thought Joey wallace set up a bad afternoon for meath by fumbling a simple hand-pass receive from which mayo ran down and scored a goal from. These mistakes just simply cant happen if we are to get anywhere.
