Team named anyway. Anybody know anything about Sean Emmanuel haven't seen him play before? Disappointed not to see Furzey Blake after his performances club championship, possibly not worth the risk as has a short fuse?

Hard to believe Fursey Blake not there considering the final he had . Hard to keep everyone happy though;some give out about a short fuse while also looking for aggression. Classy , clever player though.

I didn't see team named but as for Sean Emmanuel even though he has another year at Minor is a fantastic prospect and would be expected to start at midfield with Conor Gray.
In relation to the comments about Fursey Blake not even making the 24 who tog out tomorrow, that is a very big surprise especially as he is such a versatile and intelligent player and most people expected he would certainly be in a very good shout of making one of the back positions in the starting 15.
It is a sign of the management must be very confident of beating the Dubs tomorrow that they don't even need to have Fursey on the bench, it is hard to believe (and great for Meath football if true) that the level of all of the 24 lads on the panel are above him and that the management don't have any need to even have a player of his calibre on the bench. I would disagree but I am not a selector.
It shows that obviously the management believe the backs they are starting and the backs they have on the bench are better should they need to bring them on.
Meath have 3 very good Backs in Liam Kelly(also a year younger), Sean O' Donohoe and Mark Caufield but the other 3 back positions not as strong and could be in trouble if Dublin are better than people seem to think.
As a Dunshaughlin man I don't think it's a fair reflection to say our club player Fursey Blake has a short fuse, he never got a red card in his career and only ever got 1 black card a few years ago taking a foul for the team( I have checked with people in the know). I think someone who would normally be described as having a short fuse could often be detrimental to a team by getting sent off or doing something stupid, something Fursey could never be accused of, controlled intelligent aggression might be a better description.
It's appears a strange one (not only to people in Dunshaughlin) but you have to hope and think the management know what they are about and feel confident the 24 players they are bringing tomorrow and the 15 they start will be the right ones to beat Dublin.
It is great that we have 4 other players from Dunshaughlin who are well deserving to be on the 24 and I wish Conor, Ruairí, John and Aaron and all the Meath lads the best tomorrow and how the mood in the county would improve if we could only beat the Dubs. It would make the lockdown much more bearable. Come on lads make it happen.

Super win! Second half performance was excellent Frayne was the pick of the bunch but you'd have to wonder at the Dublin sideline allowing him so much space when he was causing so much problems
Gray and Emmanuel dominated second half after an ok first 30
Kinsella was very busy but can't help thinking if himself and Freyne swapped they might get more
Both wing forwards were really good Hard to judge our backs as the Dubs were so poor up front
Looking good for a Leinster at least and you never know a welcome early Christmas present in Croker maybe

You set that up nicely thatvif we didn't beat Dublin there could be a comeback re your club man not making 24. The management are there for a long time and have marginal calls to make. Great win today and all done really well, club bias doesn't come into it when the county is involved. And regardless what 24 are named it takes 30 plus lads to make a successful team.

Looks like the minor championship is being stopped. Very disappointing for these young lads. Really hope the competition is continued as an under 18 competition next year (and wouldn't mind if it stayed there tbh)

Tough on Minors as Championship put on hold, hopefully it will resume in six weeks.
