Jaysus what a dose that lad is. Mr. Dublin himself. Literally makes a living out of Dublin GAA. Any self respecting Meath club wouldn't go near the likes of him.

Are there senior clubs looking for managers other than Ratoath Ashrules (Dublin) - Posts: 549 - 13/01/2020 10:25:55 2259319 Link 0 |
Curraha were but understand they have appointed somebody who was with a Louth team last year.

Best team in Meath. And it still absolutely kills you :)

Best team in Meath by a distance, playing great football and potential to win many more, why would that kill me ?

I think Don-Ash will be a force in the Football championship in 2020. They have a new manager who gathered vast experience as a player and as part of Jim Gavin's management team. They have the raw material to be a force. meath87889699 (Meath) - Posts: 41 - 19/01/2020 20:51:46 2260922 Link 0 |
The 'raw material' has been the case the last five years or so! It's too many times that it's been what if for Don/Ash, two finals in the last decade given some of the talent they had was a poor return, especially given how they played in those deciders.

Have Ratoath been successful in securing a new management team or are they still in limbo? I notice they defeated Moynalvey over the weekend in the Feis Cup so they are at least playing matches. BigJoe14 (Meath) - Posts: 997 - 28/01/2020 11:42:04 2263161 Link 0 |
They have a former Meath U20 manager over them.

Imagine that ratoath managed to field a team (and win) at the weekend is it possible that the club can survive the doomsday that some on here have predicted head4dblackspot (Meath) - Posts: 513 - 28/01/2020 13:43:05 2263198 Link 0 |

A manager left - the players are still there! They had a panel of 28 on Saturday and were missing the 4 lads with meath seniors 4 lads with meath 20s and a few lads who started in the senior final with injury (at least 4!) Doesn't look like there is much trouble there!! Royalblufill (Meath) - Posts: 511 - 28/01/2020 21:53:23 2263343 Link 0 |
So Ratoath have 40 players, who would have thought it......

The young lads who stepped in did very well. Maybe Ratoath are different to other clubs and dont need an administrative structure with sensible people or a settled manager or any properly structured backup.

Strange appointment if true. What has he ever done as a manager? With all the talent Ratoath have, you'd think there would be coaches queuing up outside Sean Eiffe Park.
