At game last night first half our kickouts not working all in our own half looked terrible. Hats off to management thou got it spot on second half.plenty to work on but with no real club football now we could get a run goin in championship.

This thread would be better served discussing who's actually on the panel and what the prospects are of overturning a good Kildare team who beat us at the same juncture last year.

The competition is what it is and realistically the Co Board can't be blamed too much for its lack of attention to it considering many other counties and in fact a province don't even bother entering. There's a plethora of quality eligible players the length and breadth of the county and having had an association with the grade in the past I'm well aware of the number of players who shun the opportunity to turn up for a trial for various reasons. Having said that, it's a fine panel of 30 odd players they've assembled so quit grumbling, get in early on Sunday week and shout the lads on to glory!

Congrats to management and players on today's win. A small silver lining on a bad day for Meath football. O'Coilean should almost start for the seniors the next day. Was very impressed with him and surely as good an option as anything on display today on senior team.

Well done to the juniors yesterday. Danny Quinn, Jason Scully, Collins and Sean Reilly are definitely worth their salt on the senior squad.

Looked like Michael Flood was more or less instructed to lift the cup and get the lads off the field as quickly as possible by our friends in the Leinster Council. Typical Dublin biased organisation with Dublin not even having the courtesy of entering a team.

Didn't they get rid of acceptance speeches in minor finals at Croke Park. Probably just adhered to that rule for the junior.

Great win. Did they over indulge on the celebrations? You play senior senior with a heavy drinking culture
