Big fan of Andy's....and def the man for the job but he cant be 100% excluded from blame cause of the " we don't have the players".....manager has to shoulder alot of the blame.....if ya don't have the players then at least set yourself up that your hard bet and tight in defence. We are dropping our forwards back and still afford the opposition oceans of space. our players not good enough simple we are where we are because they just not good enough to beat middle of the road teams never mind the top teams come on lads time for some truth we are just NOT good enough

Very disappointing performance available tonight. Radio suggested that it's time for team to roll up their sleeves and dig in. This should have happened tonight. They also suggested that we need to establish ourselves as a D 2 side?????? We are the most established D2 side in the country!! We are in serious trouble and will struggle to retain D2 status. Have no idea what's being done at training 4/5 nights a week. Are basic skills like simple punt kicking no longer deemed important and Christ almighty lads we need to find a free taker somewhere. Battle to stay in the division from here on in. Think we will just about survive but unfortunately things are just not going our way. We just don't have the quality to compete with teams like tipp and Cavan never mind the Division 1 teams. We are where we are and need to really concentrate on our underage teams. Most Meath fans have been waiting 15 years. I dont think patience will do much. Bert we are drowning in our own mediocrity. Something or someone is suffocating this side. Someone needs to stand up and shoulder some responsibility. What young fella wants to bus it all the way down to Thurles on a Saturday night and ship another Hammering? It's sad to see how low we've sunk.

I don't think the dressing room care, if they really cared such inconsistency wouldn't occur and a bit more fight would be evident in the team. Andy though has to justify some of the changes that apear to have been made just for the sake of change, like why did Conlon not start? I thought we were trying to develope a half back who would be there for years to come, next thing he is out for what was a crucial game. No way to treat a young player.

We have had years to get this right. We haven't moved got with the picture at all in the last 15 or 16 years. What kind of investment goes into schools today in Meath and I mean investing in 4/5 year olds. What kind of incentives are given to parents in encouraging these young children to throw on a pair of boots and go join their local club? Most of the best performing clubs in this island invest funding, time and effort into their youth. That is why they are where they are year after year. What kind of strategy does the county board for youth development ( if any)?

Disappointed to say the least. Very tough game to analyse, impossible to know what is going on , but I always felt we would get beat, Tobin coming off after 3 losses of possession was a bit harsh I felt ill Post tomorrow, still long way to travel. Ok "the players are not there" but are we getting the best out of what we have, absolutely not!! Not sure yet what to say about the game tonight , much more disappointed than last week. But. One thing , what on Earth was the management at, taking off sean tobin in the first half, who was by far and away our best foward, yes he had got a knock but had told the line he was ok and was furious when he was taken off, absolute amateur hour!!!!
