A combination of Ratoath and Dunboyne.

We need a performance against Tipperary,I think all the Meath players know this.

Win today and we could have been on top of the league..lose next week we will more than likely be second from bottom and it all turns into a game of survival sadly after that ! That the thin line of failure and success ..

4 games left...i would take 2 wins from the last 4 games right now and it would leave us safe with 7 points...i would be happy at that for now !

This was the game I was worried about the most at beginning of league, I think we will bounce back and get a win won't be easy , I certainly not giving up on promotion, it's still very much in our own hands, but the pressure is on to win this.

Hard to know what to make of this. Both ourselves and Tipp have had topsey-turvy results. At the start of the league I thought this would be our most difficult game. If we preform the same way as Cavan we'll be on the way to another shellacking. A loss here we're in a bit of trouble whereas a win has us in a great position. It could be a defining game for Andy's time in charge.

Very harsh on Shane mcenetee who had a good game v Cavan, Conlon for all his ability looses ball way too easily, Eamonn wallace runs fantastic but sometimes makes the wrong decision, I agree about graham though. Think he and Meath better served with him and Donal as a two man forward line.

My thinking behind dropping Shane is based on his performances over all the games..I'm not his biggest fan to be honest but could live with it if he's picked!! No way Conlan can be dropped we need to stick with him..Wallys strengths outweigh his negatives so would still persist with him!! I'm worried that Biggy is being taken off a lot this year doesn't look good!! Its just not happening for one reason or another..we need to get him going again fast ! Stick him in the full forward line and tell him to keep his energy for attacking !! No tracking back don't think he can do both anymore.. If he doesn't improve then dont start him and bring him on as impact sub! Fresh Graham could give a back all sorts of trouble and win games for us

1.Andrew Colgan.
2.Seamas Lavin
3.Conor McGill
4.Brian Conlan ( focus on defensive duties, and learn to become sticky, empty space doesn't score points , so marking it is a waste of time )
5.Donal Keoghan (Drive Forward)
6.Dan O'Neill , (dominate CHB , stop runs, distribute well , and drive forward when opportunity arises )
7.Brian Power (Drive Forward)
8.Bryan Menton
9.Harry Rooney (if Fit )
10.James McEntee (drive forward , track back if required )
11.McKeever (Direct quick Ball, link up the FF / HB chain )
12.Cillian O'Sullivan (Drive forward , track back if required )
13.Donal Lenihan ( need to get this man match fit now )
14.Graham Reilly (Stay there no tracking back)
15.Eamon Wallace (play out the field and run at opposition, track back if required )

leaving you with a 2 FF and CHF within the attacking half at all times , loads of space to play ball into . Also nullifying the sweeper if one is utilised , by following for either the FB or HB line .

100% agree with you and to be honest i cant for the life of me figure out why Andy is using Graham the way he is!
Imagine him coming at you after about 40 minutes of him sitting on bench looking at us playing c**p and hes wound up waiting to come on! The energy he has when allowed to play to his full potential is phenomenal. He would make a huge impact as sub.

Why do people still keep putting keoghan anywhere other then corner back. He just has to play there......conlon corner back? My god.

Yeah I know Conlan is never a corner back ! Look With regards to Donal he's a great corner back but I think he can offer alot from wing back! Now is the time to try it ! Can always drop him back

Donal is a specialist man-marker. That's his role, anyone at the game yesterday could see that. He disposed his opposite number time after time after time.

If we are beating a team well let him drive up the field otherwise keep him on the dangerman.

I can see 2-3 changes for this game. I can't see Tobin starting however.

Lavin got caught out badly vs Cavan and perhaps Mickey Burke may even be brought in as an experienced defender.

I say we could see Lenihan, Rooney and Burke coming in. Wouldn't trust the named team on Friday!

I really don't want to ring alarms but we could be in real danger if we lose this game. Worrying to say but I'm afraid it depends what Meath team turns up and who.is to know until 7.15/20pm on Saturday
