The fixture for the Leinster Minor Football Championship final has been announced.
Meath will take on Kildare next Friday May 22nd in Portlaoise at 7.35pm.
After losing their opening two rounds at home to Louth and Kildare in Skryne, Trevor Giles’ charges have found a rich vein of form on the road against Wicklow, Laois, Offaly and last nights semi final win over Dublin at Parnell Park.
Meath and Kildare met in round 2 at Fr. McManus Park and the Lilywhites left the Skryne venue with a five point win.
It will be a busy couple of days for followers of the Green & Gold. Meath travel to Pairc Ui Rinn to take on Cork in the opening round of the All Ireland series less than 24 hours later. Throw in at the Cork venue is at 5.30pm.
