Rain cold and wind were the order of the day as both sides battled away but Kildalkey got 4 goals in the first half 2 from Nicky Potterton and 2 for Conor Fitzgerald set them on their way against a depleted Dunderry who were missing a lot of players on the day and points from Paddy Coneely Luke Rickard
Paddy Barnwell and Niall McNally left them 4-5 to 0-4 ahead at the break.
The second half didn’t get any better for Dunderry as Kildalkey added another 12 points to their tally to get them off the mark in Division 1 of the HL .
