With a successful 2025 behind us we turn our attention to the 2026. Our senior footballers and hurlers have already seen action in the O’Byrne and Kehoe Cup competitions as we begin the countdown to the start of the National Football and Hurling Leagues on January 24th.

Before that we have the Club Championship Draws to look forward too.

Clubs and players around the county will be tuned into Dunganny Meath GAA Centre of Excellence next Monday January 19th as Meath GAA County Committee will host the 2026 Club Championship Draws.

The hurling championship began in mid July last year and the football got under way three weeks later.

Last year saw Keegan Cup winners Summerhill just squeeze out of Group A that included Gaeil Colmcille, Dunboyne and Skryne.

2024 Jubilee Cup winners Ratoath drew Kiltale in their opening round of the SHC. 

A short County Committee meeting will take place at 7.30 p.m. in advance of the draws at 8pm.
