Dublin All-Ireland winner Shane Carthy has transferred clubs to Meath side Summerhill.
The Leinster GAA website confirms that Carthy’s move from Naomh Mearnóg in Portmarnock to the 2023 Meath senior football champions was processed this past Monday, meaning he will be playing his club football in the Royal County this coming season.
The 30-year-old has won All-Ireland titles with the Dubs across three different age groups.
2012 saw Carthy playing a key role in Dublin's All-Ireland minor championship success, contributing 0-3 in the Dubs’ final win over Meath, and two years later he’d be a part of his county’s All-Ireland U21 triumph.
He would also lift the Sam Maguire Cup with the capital men in 2013 after they defeated Mayo by a point at Croke Park in the All-Ireland SFC final.
