The team at hoganstand.com/meath were tasked with picking the best XV from the opening round of the Senior Hurling Championship. An easy job we thought but far from it. 

The six game programme started last Wednesday and end at 2.30 yesterday with all games taking place on the splendid Pairc Tailteann surface.

The plan was to name the team in their starting positions as per match day programme but that went out the window when we saw some of the performances in the 12 jersey.
