Tributes paid to retiring referee Mick Ryan

Tributes were paid to referee Michael Ryan who is hanging up his whistle after 30 years of service to both codes at all levels.

Gaeil Colmcille delegate Ultan Fitzpatrick wished the popular official well in his retirement and thanked him for all the times he took charge of minor games over many years.

A presentation night to mark the occasion has been organised by Dunsany GFC for this Friday evening in the clubhouse at 9pm.

Tributes were paid to two Meath Gaels was passed away Bill Eiffe (Ratoath) and Kay Gogarty (Kells). Sympathy was also extended to the Tobin family Simonstown following the tragic death of Ena Tobin in a car accident.
