Meath manager Andy McEntee has given a vote of confidence to the team that hammered Longford a fortnight ago for tomorrow’s Leinster SFC semi-final against Dublin.
The prospect of regular full back Cormac McGill or midfielder Ronan Jones starting cannot be ruled out, however, after they were both named among the subs following injury layoffs. Dunboyne clubman Jones is back in the reckoning after breaking his arm in a challenge match against Armagh on the eve of the National League.
The Royals will be hoping to atone for last year’s heavy Leinster final loss to the six-in-a-row All-Ireland champions.
