Offaly SHC: St Rynagh's and Kilcormac/Killoughey set-up decider date

St Rynagh’s will face Kilcormac/Killoughey in the Offaly senior hurling championship final in a fortnight’s time after both sides came through their respective semi-finals over the weekend.

Holders St Rynagh’s scored a 1-20 to 0-17 victory over Birr yesterday evening, with Aaron Kenny’s 56th minute putting a seal on the victory for Ken Hogan’s charges.

Their prize is a date with 2017 champions Kilcormac/Killoughey whom overcame Belmount by 1-22 to 1-18 on Saturday at St Brendan’s Park.

Cathal Kiely struck a decisive 1-8 for the winners, including a 42nd minute penalty, while Cillian Kiely and Conor Mahon chipped in with four points each to help secure their team’s passage to a third final in four years.
