Replying To royaldunne: "Ok am I right in what I'm thinking? Kildare are on opposite side of Dublin in Leinster draw so they have a distinct possibility of still reaching Leinster final. As I believe louth are on dubs side too. (Really should have looked it up before posting). So the 8 finalists reach the round robin. Are cork opposite to Kerry and or Clare ? If they are they also will reach it by right. Should Meath get another win we may not need the bye from tc last year and get there on merit. (If we get passed Longford dubs will hammer us). So no chance there . I am again speculating but I suspect that the provincials will be dub Kildare Kerry cork 2 of Roscommon/Galway mayo . And say for argument sake Derry and Donegal. (Could be anyone in ulster just picking those two as an example) that is the top 8. Then it goes to league. Plus Meath. Majority of div 1, will be in it so next 7. One thing I don't know is the two who get relegated from div 2 ranked lower than two going up ??" Louth on same side of draw as Kildare. Meath on same side as Dublin

Replying To Horsebox77: "Jesus that's a tough one - since I've been following Kerry: John Egan, Power, Bomber, Mikey Sheehy, Pat Spillane, Oige Moran, then there was Fitzgerald, Cinneide, Mike Frank, Cooper, Donaghy, O'Donoghue and Declan O'Sullivan - jesus lad it's not so easy to pick this - for graceful skill and raw talent I'd have to pick Mossie Fitz he could mix it a bit something Cooper did struggled with again sometimes whe have to judge players by the people around them - cooper and donaghy worked well together Declan too was the man that pulled the strings outside allowing the likes of Donaghy, Cooper MikeFrank etc to run up the scores.
That's why I have to pick Moss Fitz he did it on his own when the days were bad and our summers were over in June when we had to contend with Autumn football in the league in October Fitz was always the shining light - that's why I think this year is so important the man again is on the sideline pulling the strings.

If you think back to the golden years video we rarely wore the Munster blue back then. Offally in 80, Meath in 86 and mayo in was it 81 semi.
The final jerseys for 81 and 82 were class and retained the green and gold. Truth be told i love the current green and gold design by Paul but was disappointed by the gold/blablack addition. If it was gold/green now that would be a different story .
