Long range scoring in hurling is one of those things that takes your breath away and those in Wexford Park on Saturday saw something special.
Mark Fanning was between the posts for Glynn Barntown as they lost out to St Annes by 2-17 to 1-19 in the senior hurling championship. The county man hit three points from frees with one of his efforts having to be seen to be believed.
Awarded a free just outside his own 14m line, Fanning took a few steps and fired a point from practically the length of the field away.
Take a look.
