The big club game of the weekend is the Wexford SHC final between Ferns St. Aidan’s and St Martin’s.

Chadwicks Wexford Park hosts the decider at 3pm on Sunday. Ferns are appearing in the first final since 2013 after dethroning holders Rapparees after extra-time in last Sunday’s semi-final. They will go in search of their first-ever title against St Martin’s who defeated Naomh Eanna by 0-20 to 0-15 in the other semi-final.

The win was achieved despite the absence of injured county star Rory O’Connor, and a hamstring injury sustained by his older brother Jack after only 12 minutes. St Martin’s are gunning for a fifth title since 1999.

The Wexford JHC ‘A’, IHC ‘A’ and IHC finals are also down for decision on Saturday, while the JHC decider between Davidstown-Courtnacuddy and Glynn-Barntown will act as a curtain-raiser to the SHC final on Sunday.
