Tir Chonaill Gaels were crowned London senior football champions for 2018 after beating Fulham Irish in today’s final replay at Ruislip.
The winners picked up their 17th title courtesy of a 0-15 to 0-13 victory over the holders.
As expected, there was little between these two evenly matched sides once again.
The eventual winners led by 0-7 to 0-4 at the halfway stage but with it was 0-12 apiece with three minutes left on the clock.
As events panned out, late points from substitute Ryal Elliott (2) and Killian Butler edged Tir Chonaill Gaels over the finishing line with their noses in front.
