Tomorrow’s Allianz Football League Division 3 clash between Leitrim and Fermanagh has been called off after Steven Poacher’s side were forced to concede the game.
The teams were due to meet in Ballinamore on Sunday at 2pm, but it has now been confirmed that the game is off as Leitrim are unable to field a team because of injuries and the unavailability of their U20 players.
Leitrim are set to play Galway in the Connacht U20 football championship on Wednesday evening.
While not officially relegated from Division 3 ahead of this weekend, Poacher’s men faced a tall order to try and retain their status after losing their first five outings in the league.
The walkover means that Fermanagh now sit on seven points and are safe from relegation ahead of their final round meeting with Laois in Enniskillen next weekend.
