A heartwarming poem has been written in honour of the late Dillon Quirke ahead of the anniversary of the Tipperary hurler’s tragic death.
The 24-year-old died a year ago today after collapsing while playing a club championship match for Clonoulty-Rossmore against Kilruane MacDonaghs at Semple Stadium.
Martin Quinn wrote a poem in memory of Dillon titled 'A WARRIOR through all his short years' in the days leading up to the one-year anniversary of his death (listen to it below).
Those interested in buying a copy of the poem can contact Mr Quinn via the following email address: [email protected].
