Kildare’s Walsh Cup opener against Galway has become the third of this afternoon’s games to fall foul of the freezing weather conditions.
The game had been scheduled to go ahead at 1.30pm in Newbridge, but has since been postponed after the pitch at Cedral St Conleth’s Park was deemed unplayable following inspection.
The Walsh Cup clash between Offaly and Antrim in Tullamore was called off earlier today along with the Dr McKenna Cup meeting between Donegal and Derry in Letterkenny.
TweetFollowing a further pitch inspection and due to lack of thaw today's Dioralyte Walsh Cup game between Kildare and Galway has been deemed unplayable.
