Replying To BigToeJoe: "Thanks for your comment, Itown1234. In your case, it might have been more helpful if I had said that your criticism had been constructively bruising rather than outright brutal. Certainly, KeshGFC's assessment was extremely harsh, but that's to be expected given his consistently destructive nature and lack of constructive input. As for the pot-stirrer macca999, he pretends to be nice to Donnelly while being disingenuous, much like in Shakespeare's play where Mark Antony repeatedly calls Brutus an honourable man while ultimately betraying him. macca999's history of uncomplimentary remarks about players and indeed managers is well documented. Hopefully, this clarifies why I mentioned you and your fellow forum contributors regarding the removal of my critical post about the outcome of this season for our poorly managed Fermanagh team." Bigtoe you have summed up them bucks well!
I didn't see the post that was taken down but I gather it was about replacing the manager. The fact he hasn't resigned so far worries me as a fresh face is badly needed.

Replying To gaalltheway: "What a day at Croke Park yesterday, especially with that nail-biting win for our Fermanagh boys! Absolutely buzzing for our Ekn Gaels scoring lads, Conor Love and Jonny Cassidy, with Conor being outstanding, and credit to the whole squad for digging deep in the 2nd half when we really needed it. That result was a massive lift for the team's morale.
That said, I was genuinely surprised by how sparse the crowd was at Croker, and the second game wasn't much better, not what you'd expect for a big day like that with the Dubs and the Orchard men there too. As for that macca999 guy, no sign of him in the stands… though with the match live on GAA+, I'd say the high stool might've won out!" There are more players needing acknowledgement than two lad! Anyway I'm very proud how the team finished and it gives us all a good interest in seeing them progress and let's hope for a great outcome. I see you mentioned that macca man who is surprisingly silent. Maybe this hint will help prise open his gob, as some other poster said recently, to utter some praises for our gallant Fermanagh lads!
