Limerick hurling star Cian Lynch has undergone successful surgery on his leg.
The Patrickswell clubman was forced to watch his county’s latest All-Ireland SHC final success from the sidelines last month after twisting his ankle the weekend before the decider against Kilkenny.
Yesterday (Wednesday) Lynch shared this picture on his Instagram story, posting “Job done” and also tagging the Sports Surgery Clinic located in Santry, Dublin where he had the surgery.
The 26-year-old is now believed to be on the road towards full recovery as he targets a return to the green and white jersey early next season.
