This afternoon’s Ulster minor football championship qualifier second round clash between Donegal and Down has been abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch at the Donegal Centre of Excellence.
Torrential rain began to pour down midway through the first-half in Convoy and, with Donegal leading by 2-17 to 0-6, referee Shane Murphy called a halt to proceedings in the 47th minute.
Having spoken with both managers, the Armagh official suspended the game for 10 minutes before eventually deciding to abandon the match.
Details of the re-fixture are set to be confirmed by Ulster CCC later.
