Dan Shanahan believes bringing in an outside manager of the quality of Liam Cahill has changed the whole outlook of Waterford’s hurling.
The former Deise star was speaking on RTÉ 2FM’s Game On where he lauded the effect that Cahill has had on a team that has struggled for the past number of years.
"It's amazing when an outside manager comes in, the stuff he can do and lay down the law,” said Shanahan.
"You see the rewards. They're fighting for every ball and that's coming from the manager. When he comes in, he makes a statement, he does this, he does that but I think you have to give the management credit the way the lads are working.”Tweet
