Cork forward Emma Murphy is hoping the Rebels can “come out the right side” of tomorrow’s All-Ireland senior camogie championship final against Galway.

Last year’s final saw the Munster kingpins dethroned by their Connacht rivals at Croke Park, where Carrie Dolan’s late free saw the Tribeswomen claiming the coveted O’Duffy Cup on a 1-14 to 1-13 scoreline.

Speaking to EchoLive.ie this week, Murphy said she is anticipating another tight battle between the two rivals on camogie’s biggest stage.

"We love playing Galway and I know they love playing us too," said the Glen Rovers clubwoman.

"It's easy to get up for it. We know what we're getting and we just have to match it and even go beyond it. 

"Hopefully, we can come out the right side of it."

On the Cork support for tomorrow’s decider at headquarters, she added: "It was amazing to have the Cork crowd in Semple Stadium (for the semi-final) and also at our home game against Waterford. When we ran out you could really hear the Cork supporters, and all through the games it's great and really spurs you on. 

"Hopefully now we will have a big crowd in Croke Park we need them with us to push us on and help us get over the line.”
