I'm not so sure Castlerahan will win the next day. I'm going to go with Lacken by a point. It will be interesting to see how both teams set up the next day. Both played extremely negative (Lacken in first, Castlerahan in second) and were out scored when doing so. Castlerahan didn't use their extra speed in the forward line on the counter attack and looked afraid to win it. Lacken are a very powerful team.

Cootehill to beat Gowna by 3+ the next day. Excellent comeback albeit with some questionable frees. Impressed by Gowna I must say, I had them down as relegation material this year. However Cootehill to have the most improvement the next day.

Been poor enough quality over all in the championship. Ramor v Kingscourt a very low scoring game for 2 the better teams in Cavan.

storm winds which were blowing in Kingscourts favour in the first half and they still played a 1 man full forward line and only managed 4 points....

You must be either a gaels or a kingscourt man with a comment like that ?? It Was an excellent game i thought considering the conditions! Great not to see gaels or kingscourt in the semi's! great championship so far if you ask me!!

Castlerahan and Lacken are unproven sides everyone talks about them been so great when really they are average sides,

I'll pick Lacken to win the next day as they'll learn from the last day more, altho there Full back line is poor and could cost them no matter how many players they get behind the ball,

Cootehill will brush Gowna aside the next day, Gowna are a poor side running on the club's senior reputation,
Credit cootehill for coming from behind when i say the half time score i thought it was them throwing there arse at the championship and just been happy to stay up , but after avoiding the big guns Ramor in the semi's Cootehill could well make the final with a strong push with everyone rowed in together.

Think arrogance is a bit harsh. They probably would have won if it wasn't for a couple strange decisions going against them.

Why can the 2 quarter final replays not be played as a double header? Are the CB that greedy that they need 2 gates? Unbelievable !

And played in Breffni seeing as they're quarter finals. Five o clock strange time. It almost like they're officials going Dublin Saturday night and their drinking time is more important than players.

Great to see at this stage of the championship. Cootehill have come from nowhere and may just go all the way now.

I think you are right in saying Lacken will prevail, they just dont know when they are dead and buried. Seems like they are getting better and fitter the more they go on. Will be an interesting game none the less.

On the other hand I have no idea what game you were looking at as regards the Gowna V Cootehill game. Ref was poor in my opinion for both sides. What an unblievable score from John McCutchon. Still find it hard to believe he isn't on the county panel.

I think the intermediate semis are fixed for Breffni. But that shouldn't stop a senior double header. It could be played in mullahoran or Lavey. It's bonus money for the CB and I'm sure supporters of the 4 teams and neutrals would like to see all teams play. It's time this CB woke up and started looking after its supporters. Crazy planning .

Bit disappointing that it's not possible to see both replays alright. Think they're going to be close again. Think Castlerahen will edge this one but they're not a team that fills me with confidence and struggle to convert dominance onto the scoreboard. They are very strong in certain areas but a team like Lacken will always have a great chance against them. This is the game I'll be attending.
Gowna Cootehill is another close call but I'll go with my original prediction again - Cootehill win. Cootehill will have to be happy with their second half showing regardless of wides kicked. Can't help but feel Gowna left it after them. They had the game won but ill discipline cost them. But they did impress me and although light in places are a very improved side- a club to watch for the future. Big shout out to John McCutcheon as well. Took some nerve to kick that last score.
Ramor Lavey has the makings of a great game. Two very strong teams with plenty of talent. Conditions weren't great at the weekend but hopefully they'll be better next day and we get a good game of football from these two. I'll go for a narrow Ramor win but I do like the look of Lavey. Very hard call- I suppose both clubs haven't always carried expectation that well and it's new territory for them both. I'm calling county champions from this game.
I'm also calling county finalists from Lacken Castlerahen game. I feel they're stronger and more seasoned teams overall. Cootehill and Gowna have some brilliant young players but I think they are a bit weak in a few positions and will need a few more years to develop a better balance.

The entertainment value has been very good with the quarters. Quality wasn't the best at times but conditions didn't help. It's nice that someone new is actually going to win it and it could be the makings of a club team down the line. However for this year I'd fear for any of those teams against the boys from South Armagh.

Think mullahoran will suit us .Think Coleman and Cooney will be back . Both can score at other end of field. We will win by 6 or more . Lacken got off the hook the last day . Castlerahan v lavey final . I thought Ramor were very poor against Kingscourt. Lavey are playing great football. This is our year .come on the Rahan

Had the Gowna players kept their mouths shut there was no way John was going to score from where the free was originally given. The wind did not help and one would find it hard to say how it will go under normal conditions. Mark McKeever played an exceptional game for Gowna a great leader. Regarding John McCutchon I think he can explain why he is not on the county team so ask him.

Castlerahan can beat Lacken if they play their natural game instead of the puke they dished out in the second half. They allowed Lacken back into this game and were lucky in the end to come out of it with a draw. Why the hell did Mackey decide he was a better half back than a half forward ????. I predict Castlerahan and Gowna to win the replay's and Ramor to win the championship.
