Championship Predictions

A lot talked about Laragh. They are struggling in Senior and probaly lucky there is no Relegation this year. Killygarry and Gowna a big game whoever loses likely out of the running for a quarter final place.

Not really, 3 points will almost definitely get you to a QF in the senior.
2 Points may even be enough with a good score difference.
Can't see Mullahoran Shercock or Laragh getting any more points

Mostly good, but two glaring errors there I'm afraid.

Xlough ae far from the finished article but can beat the current Lacken in 3rd gear I'm afraid, it's just a matter of the scoreline there, and Drumgoon will beat Ramor B's by 3+. I know they bet Ballymachugh last year but it's still an A team against a B team at the end of the day.

Ramor B's should be in junior not intermediate.
Whoever draws them is guaranteed two points

Believe it or not, they were the 2 exact fixtures i had to take abit extra to predict, don't get me wrong Crosserlough can definitely win with a few to spare. I seen Lacken on Sunday last and i thought they looked good.

I was gonna call a draw between Drumgoon & Ramor there, a point either way wouldn't surprise me. Drumgoon had a decent draw against Killinkere i suppose i went to quickly with that prediction.

On another note, anyone get a refund yet for the streaming service that doesn't seem to work?

"drumalee11" predicting Drumalee to lose to Drung by 2 points at the weekend, surely not?

Speaking of Drumalee, word coming from someone in and around Cavan Town is that they have a surprise up their sleeve for the Championship in regards to the return of 1 or 2 players who will help them massively. Looking forward to all 3 Championships this weekend.

Ramor Bs comfortable by the looks of it?? Still think they can get a few wins. Might be "Bs" but better than a lot of the teams in it.

If Ramor didn't use any players who won't eventually play Senior for the rest of the year, then that is great, and fair play to them.

If they did then I would take slight objection to it. I think it's ok for some unfairness and blooding of potential seniors at Junior B, C & D. But as was the case with Cavan Gaels B's a few years ago, the table can be unfairly distorted by a team chopping and changing players out of grades.

That said, Drumgoon A's should be beating any teams B team if they are at the races at all. I would be interested in seeing the Ramor team on the day, either to back up my complaints or say well done.

Think Ramor used Jack Doyle in their intermediate game, and then the senior game the following weekend.
Thought they had to name a panel for each and stick with it?

Ramor Intermediate can use any players that haven't got any game time for the Seniors. Hence Jack Doyle played against Belturbet in 1st round, came on against Shercock for the Seniors last week and is now therefore ineligible for Intermediates. I think they will take another scalp and sneak into quarters which would be great achievement. They've a nice mix of experience(4/5 Senior medallists from 2016) and young players with Minor/U20 Division 1 Championship medals

More division one championship medals on the ramor Bs than all the intermediate teams and nearly all the senior teams.
