Horgan takes over Cork chair

Pat Horgan will be elected unopposed as Cork GAA chairman at next month’s county convention.

The Midleton clubman succeeds Marc Sheehan who is seeking to fill one of the county’s two Munster Council delegate positions. Horgan has served as county board vice-chairman for the past three years and as chairman of the Cork CCC.

Noel O’Callaghan of Clonakilty will also be elected unopposed as vice-chairman at convention on Tuesday, December 12.
