Tyrone will not take the appeal process any further after the Central Hearings Committee’s decision to uphold their four red cards earlier this week.
Michael McKernan, Padraig Hampsey, Peter Harte and Kieran McGeary lost their appeals against the red cards they received following a late brawl in last Sunday week's Allianz Football League defeat to Armagh.
After Monday night’s decision from the CHC to uphold the suspensions, the Tyrone county board have the option to appeal to the GAA’s Central Appeals Committee.
However, RTE Sport are reporting that they will not take their case the CAC, meaning the four players, including Footballer of the Year McGeary, will miss this Sunday’s clash with Kildare in Omagh.
Armagh’s Greg McCabe also had his case against the red card he received in the same game heard and it is understood that the player’s suspension has also been upheld.
