Cork's Diarmuid O'Sullivan
Cork legend Diarmuid O'Sullivan thinks Jimmy Barry-Murphy should be made Taoiseach.
JBM has made an instant impression since being reinstalled as Rebel County hurling manager, guiding them to Sunday's league final, and 'The Rock', who retired from intercounty action in 2009, says in The Irish Sun:
"I often say about Jimmy Barry-Murphy that if he was Taoiseach he'd pull the country out of a hole because he is brilliant at instilling belief into people and his whole demeanour is so positive.
"When I heard that Jimmy was coming back there was a jealousy factor because I knew in my heart and soul what he'd bring to it and what he'd mean to fellas.
"Appointing him was the best move Cork have made in years.
"The team's got better and better and their confidence is soaring because they know they can go out and express themselves and have no need to look over their shoulder.
"Jimmy likes all players - backs or forwards - and he lets them go and play and then work their nuts off when they don't have the ball, to get it back."
