Clare champions Inagh-Kilnamona booked their place in the Munster club senior hurling championship semi-finals with an impressive 1-21 to 1-14 victory over Cork's Glen Rovers at Páirc Uí Rinn this afternoon.
Aidan McCarthy was the star of the show, finishing with a personal tally of 0-14 as Inagh-Kilnamona dominated much of the first-half against the hosts.
David Fitzgerald's first-half goal would help the Clare side to establish a commanding 1-12 to 0-5 advantage at the break.
Glen Rovers battled back after the change of ends, reducing the deficit to four points with the help of a goal from Patrick Horgan (1-8), but the Banner champions responded strongly to regain control.
McCarthy continued to punish the Glen Rovers' defence, while Fitzgerald also contributed three points in an impressive attacking display.
Inagh-Kilnamona now turn their attention to a Munster semi-final date with Thurles Sarsfields in a fortnight.
