Cork hurling manager Kieran Kingston is set to remain in charge for a fourth season after being offered a one-year extension.
Kingston’s three-year term with the Rebels came to an end after last Saturday’s All-Ireland SHC quarter-final loss to Galway in Thurles.
However, there are reports that the Tracton clubman has been offered a one-year extension in the wake of the defeat to the Tribesmen.
It is understood that the Cork players are in favour of the move and, while Kingston was non-committal on his future after the game at Semple Stadium, it looks as though he will be back at the helm with the Leesiders in 2023.
