Cork minor manager Noel Furlong believes that the feel-good factor sweeping the county can inspire the Rebels to victory in today's All-Ireland SHC final against holders Limerick.
Furlong's side delivered their part of a 'Rebel treble' of All-Ireland hurling titles following a commanding 1-23 to 0-12 win over Galway at Semple Stadium yesterday evening, ending a 20-year wait in the grade. This came on the back of the county U20's All-Ireland success in midweek.
"There's great structures in Cork at the moment, great people involved with Cork... Everybody wants to be involved with Cork at the moment," Furlong told TG4 afterwards.
"You're looking at Cork GAA at the moment, you're looking at it as an overall organisation, a brand and all the teams. All that positivity swirling around the place, that can only be a good thing.
"Obviously, the flagship team is the senior team, if they're watching tonight or during the week [Cork defeated Galway in the All-Ireland U20 hurling final on Wednesday evening], these performances were built on workrate, these performances were built on the training pitch and they're no different.
"We know as Cork people, that they're going to go in and give one hell of a performance at Croke Park tomorrow and we're all looking forward to it."
